Real Madrid Manger Carlo Ancelotti has announced Very SAD NEWS for Four Real Madrid Star after Thier big win against Osasuna
Real Madrid lost two first-team players to what look to be significant injuries during a hectic seven-minute span in the first half of its La Liga match against Osasuna on Saturday.
After the break, captain Lucas Vazquez was also substituted, bringing Los Blancos’ injury total to three in the first half.
The reigning champions entered a home game at the Bernabeu already dejected after two consecutive defeats in the same venue.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side were thrashed 4-0 by fierce rivals FC Barcelona in El Clasico, and then fell 3-1 to his old club AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday, sparking speculation of a crisis in the white half of the Spanish city.
Ancelotti made three changes to the team engaged in the latter mishap, giving Rodrygo a start and the opportunity to shine in attack.
With only 20 minutes remaining on the clock, the Brazilian hurled himself to the ground, feeling his left leg.
He was able to walk off the field without assistance, but he was distraught on the bench as teammates consoled him as Brahim Diaz replaced him.
Seven minutes later, worse was to come for defender Eder Militao, who was stretchered off in tears at the half hour mark.
His replacement Raul Asencio assisted Jude Bellingham as Madrid went 2-0 up following Vinicius Jr.’s opening, and Ancelotti’s side went down the tunnel at halftime with such a lead before clinching a 4-0 victory altogether.
However, the injuries are especially concerning for Madrid, given that the first team is now understaffed.
The severity of the injuries will likely be determined on Sunday when the club’s medical staff conduct testing on the players in issue.
According to Relevo, citing unidentified sources, Madrid is concerned that Militao has ruptured his cruciate ligament again.
If Militao is out for an extended period of time, as such a setback deserves, Ancelotti will have only one senior natural center back in Toni Rudiger, as David Alaba has yet to return.
Aurelien Tchouameni, who frequently filled in on the back line with Rudiger while Alaba and Militao were out by ACL injuries last season, is also out for at least a month, and all of this might lead Madrid to look for a new signing in January.
On the front lines, Brahim and Arda Guler, or perhaps Endrick, may be given possibilities that have hitherto been unavailable to the aforementioned youths.
If Vazquez joins the sick list, Madrid will be severely lacking in right back alternatives, since first choice Dani Carvajal has already been out with an injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season.
