FIFA has officially announced the dismissal of the officials and referees from the recent Manchester City vs Wolves . This decision comes after the referee refused to offer a Penalty after a handball in the penalty area, VAR seems to have made another big mistake against Man City š”.Seems the are favouring Arsenal to win the League

Pep Guardiola launched a scathing attack on match officials following Manchester City’s 2-0 victory over Wolves, suggesting he needs his entire squad fit and available to compensate for poor refereeing decisions.
Guardiola was left furious after referee Farai Hallamāmaking his Premier League debutāignored the advice of VAR official Darren England and refused to award City a first-half penalty.
Despite being sent to review the incident on the pitchside monitor, Hallam stuck with his original decision.
He announced to the stadium: “After review, the ball strikes the Wolves player’s arm, which is in a natural position, so the on-field decision stands.”
“I would love to have all my players available to combat these [refereeing] decisions. We won despite them.
“The referee certainly made a memorable debutāeveryone will know his name now.
“I believe this is the first time they’ve reviewed an incident on the monitor and still maintained that the arm was in a ‘natural’ position.”
In addition to the controversial St James’ Park decision that triggered Guardiola’s fury, the City boss was also frustrated by Anthony Taylor’s refusal to send off Diogo Dalot for a knee-high challenge on JĆ©rĆ©my Doku during last weekend’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester United.
Three days later, PGMOL chief Howard Webb appeared on the Premier League’s Match Officials Mic’d Up show to defend both Taylor and VAR official Craig Pawson’s decisions.
“I’m absolutely certain Howard Webb will appear in the media tomorrow to explain why this wasn’t a penalty, just as he did with the United incidentāthe first time he’d done so because there was supposedly some doubt,” Guardiola said sarcastically.
“That’s exactly why Jeremy couldn’t play in Norway [against Bodo/Glimt]ābecause of Dalot’s challenge.
“But it’s fine. I’ll be waiting tomorrow. Don’t make us wait until Wednesdayāwe’ve got Champions League preparationsāHoward Webb, come out tomorrow and explain why that wasn’t a penalty. That’s why I desperately need my players back to compete at the standard we’ve set from day one. This has gone too far.”
While City recorded their first league win of 2026 courtesy of goals from Omar Marmoushāstarting in place of the rested Erling Haalandāand Semenyo, the result ended Wolves’ impressive five-match unbeaten run across all competitions.
