FC Barcelona Top star is close to completing stunning move to Manchester United in the summer after he has decided to Leave Barcelona
Center defender Ronald Araujo is not on target for Barcelona’s sports director Deco, who claims the squad has no plans to pursue him.
Both Manchester United and Bayern Munich have been trailing Araujo in recent months in an effort to profit on Barcelona’s well-known financial woes. But 90min stated earlier this month that the defender has no desire in departing right now.
Deco has now supported that promise after discounting the speculations following Barcelona’s 4-2 triumph against Real Betis on Sunday.
“He is one of Barça’s essential players of the present and future,” Deco stated. “We simply want him to be happy; we do not want to sell him; he exhibits this daily.
“Nothing to talk about.” What counts is that he is here with a hungry and real heart.
Although Deco ruled out Araujo’s departure, he admitted that Barcelona’s financial Fair Play situation prevented them from acquiring new players.
“At this point, we don’t have Fair Play and we can’t sign players,” Deco remarked. “We keep working on resolving the same problem numerous La Liga clubs have.”
Although Eric Dier was previously brought in by Bayern Munich this month as backup defense, United is not expected to make a significant push for a new defender until the summer transfer window once INEOS’ share acquisition has been finalized and the crew in charge of recruitment has been established.
Araujo may make a summer transfer, but if he doesn’t want to leave Camp Nou, United would most likely act fast to attempt to prevent a repeat of their fruitless, lengthy hunt of teammate Frenkie de Jong, Barcelona.
Bayern Munich supporters have signed a petition collectively against Matthijs de Ligt’s expected move to Manchester United.
One of the primary causes the Red Devils are aggressively searching for at least one new center-back during the summer transfer window is the leaving of seasoned defender Raphael Varane at the end of his contract.
Bayern’s preparedness to agree a deal for about £45 million and the Dutchman’s readiness to accept a wage cut have piqued greater interest even if the expense of obtaining De Ligt originally turned United off.
But Bayern’s plan to take consideration bids for De Ligt has drawn criticism from supporters, which has altered. The org petition on Monday had above 60,000 sign-off count.
The petition declares, “We all want Matthijs de Ligt to stay at FC Bayern Munich.” He is clearly a top-notch defender, maybe the best on our squad.
“For a reason he got the vote for our top player of the 2022–2023 season. Furthermore, at only 24 years old, he has a bright future he plans to use to fulfill his great potential.
Dier Eric ligt Matthijs.
“Despite his youth, Mattha is already pretty mature and has a fantastic mentality which will surely make him a major figure in defense and maybe a competitor for leadership in some years.” Stefan Matzke – Getty Images sampics “Bayern has center-back’s supplies in plenty.” For that, his proficiency in Dutch, German, and English would be really useful. Just nineteen years old, he guided Ajax Amsterdam to the UCL semifinal.
“We would really regret selling Matthijs de Ligt; it would be a bad mistake. We thus use our voice to proclaim that we will not repeat this mistake.”
Bayern paid £25 million to get Hiroki Ito from Stuttgart, therefore adding a new center back to their lineup this summer. Eric Dier has also officially departed Tottenham Hotspur while talks are still under progress to acquire Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusener.
United is apparently set to discuss the next phases in their hunt of De Ligt and other transfer targets in a recruitment meeting on Monday.
