Barcelona prodigy Hector Fort has responded to France’s Adrien Rabiot’s comments on Lamine Yamal ahead of the Euro 2024 semifinals. Fort stated that the France star was all talk when congratulating Yamal on silencing his opponent.

Fort took to Instagram and published a tale for Yamal, captioning it:

Yamal also responded to his statement, but stated that he was more concerned with bringing his team back in the game. He was thrilled to make it to the final of his first Euros and said:

“When I scored the goal, I wanted to focus about the team first and foremost, rather than external factors. I always think that fate puts everyone in their position, and I am overjoyed to have achieved my aim and made it to the finals.”
While he didn’t say much to the reporters, Yamal was seen yelling ‘Speak Now’ to the camera immediately following the match. On Tuesday (July 9), he scored a fantastic equalizer in the 2-1 semi-final triumph over France.

Adrien Rabiot described Lamine Yamal as a talented player, but questioned his ability to manage the strain of a Euro 2024 semi-final. Rabiot stated that Yamal was obligated to recognize that club football differed from international games, saying:
