Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has been Sacked this morning after a shocking defeat by Osasuna

According to Mundo Deportivo, Hansi Flick will welcome former footballer Thiago Alcantara back to his coaching staff in January 2025.

Thiago, a former La Masia product, announced his retirement this summer when his Liverpool contract expired.

Immediately after, the former Spanish international joined Flick’s coaching team at Barça, although on a short-term contract until the summer.

Following a brief time as an external consultant, Thiago returned to England, mostly for tax considerations.

However, in his brief time as a coach, the ex-midfielder made a significant impact on the group, particularly the younger midfielders rising through the ranks. As a result, Flick and his team are eager for Thiago to return as soon as possible.
