Chelsea Manager Pochettino broke down in tears as TWO Key Chelsea player has been ruled out due to Injury before Totheham Huspor Clash in the premier League
There are two more players who Mauricio Pochettino has ruled out of playing for Chelsea in their Premier League match against Tottenham.
Over the past several weeks, Chelsea has been missing a number of first-team stars due to injuries. Some of these players include Enzo Fernandez, Reece James, Raheem Sterling, and Ben Chilwell in addition to others.
Pochettino stated that he had “no positive news” about the injury front at his pre-Spurs press conference. He also announced that Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi will not be able to participate in the match vs Spurs that will take place at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night.
Pochettino responded to a question about the current state of his team by saying, “No positive news since we cannot recall any players from the last [injury] list of players.” It is necessary for us to include two other individuals, namely Disasi and Thiago, who are not accessible for tomorrow.
After being questioned about the reasons why Chelsea has been plagued by such a high number of injuries this season, Pochettino responded by saying, “I need to be honest, what I can say is that we have a different method.”
“Of course, there are some things that we know we can do better.” Therefore, it is difficult to convey with a single word or a single statement because there are many different scenarios.
“We have an incredible medical staff that has a great deal of knowledge when it comes to our industry.” For the upcoming season, we need to develop and perform better. However, I believe that the quality is there here; this does occur on occasion.
In the Premier League, Chelsea will play host to Pochettino’s previous side Tottenham, who are now in ninth place. Spurs, on the other hand, are still in fifth place and have hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
During the match against Chelsea, Ange Postecoglou will also be missing a few crucial players. On Wednesday, he confirmed that Timo Werner and Ben Davies will be sidelined for the duration of the season.
Before their trip to Stamford Bridge, Tottenham sit seven points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, but they have two games in hand over Unai Emery’s team. This is despite the fact that Tottenham lost their north London derby against Arsenal by a score of 3-2 on Sunday.
When Pochettino returned to his old club, Chelsea, where he had coached for five years between 2014 and 2019, he referred to it as a “unique” experience. Chelsea had previously defeated Spurs by a score of 4-1 in the rematch earlier in the season.
“When we played there [in the rematch that took place in November], it was a very remarkable occasion.” “This was the first time I had been back since I left the club, but today it is a new period,” the Argentine individual stated.
It is going to be a very emotional experience to face folks with whom I have worked for a significant amount of time. For the club, I am unable to conceal my feelings. It is going to be an emotional experience because you are going to be competing against a former squad, where the history was positive, and you remember that.
In spite of this, I have stated in the past that we are going to come here with the intention of winning, and we want to win during the entire 90 minutes. It’s going to be a fun football game.
