FIFA has announced Harsh Ban for Manchester United Captain Bruno Fernandes after being sent off the second time in a row for bad conduct and tackle
Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, has been sent off twice in five days.
Even worse, Fernandes got another red card after United lost 3-0 to Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday. As the game against Porto in the Europa League came to a close (3–3), the United captain got a second yellow card for a high foot.
When he stuck out his foot to try to get on the end of a cross into the box, the Portugal player was already on a yellow card for a high foot. But Nehuen Perez, a defender for Porto, bent to clear the ball and then fell to the ground looking upset.
Bruno Fernandes is in a bad mood. “He went in high with his foot, which is dangerous,” he said on BBC Radio 5 Live. Robinson used to play goalie in the Premier League. “In Fernandes’ defense, he is looking at the ball, but that leaves the judge with no choice.”
