Former Man UTD Star Cristiano Ronaldo has made his feelings clear after Controversial Manchester United call by new manager Ruben Amiron after Erik Ten Hag chased him out of the Club

Although Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo is apparently in position for a move to Al Hilal, opponents in the Saudi Pro League, his opinions on finishing a contentious purchase are already somewhat known.

Originally spending an initial six years at Old Trafford between 2003 and 2009, the Portuguese striker later returned to the team for a brief while in the summer of 2021. He signed for Saudi club Al-Nassr on a contract until 2025 just over a year later in December 2022.

Following a prolonged period out due to injury concerns, Spanish source Sport claims league rivals Al Hilal want to transfer striker Neymar in January and hope to replace him with Ronaldo. From French side Paris Saint-Germain, the Brazilian moved to the Saudi Pro League in August last year; yet, he only made five appearances in his debut season following an ACL injury.

Al-Nassr, Ronaldo’s present team, has a long-standing rivalry with Al Hilal, Riyadh’s counterpart. Last meeting in the Derby at the start of the month, the two clubs staged a 1-1 draw at Al-Awwal Park.

Given Al-Nassr’s past with Al Hilal, the 39-year-old would seem to be making a shocking decision. Still, Ronaldo has gone very near to concluding a trade to one of United’s main rivals in former times.

Ronaldo revealed exactly how close he was to joining Manchester City and working under Pep Guardiola back in 2022 while he was still in his second term at Old Trafford But he changed his mind about the decision after speaking with former boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

“Well, really, it was really close. Ronaldo revealed Piers Morgan in an interview on TalkTV two years ago that they chatted a lot about and that two weeks ago, Manchester City manager Pep remarked, I think, they tried hard to get me.” “But as you know, your heart, your feeling… distinguishes the difference in my history—that of Manchester United. And naturally also Sir Alex Ferguson.

“I believe that was the secret. That was the difference in that moment, but I would not claim Manchester City was not near; I cannot be loyal if I would. I chatted with him [Ferguson]. ‘It is impossible for you to come to Manchester City,’ he told me.

Then I say, “OK, Boss.” I then made the selections and… they turned out well.”
