“He is currently the best player in Manchester City Squad currently, I would pay £200million to have him at my club-Darren Bent says he’d pay £200m to have Man City man at his club, it’s not Haaland
Manchester City is at the top of their game right now, and Darren Bent says he would pay £200 million to have a Man City player at his club. It is not Haaland.
From the top down, City is run in a way that many of Europe’s best teams would like to emulate. In fact, Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox were hired by Manchester United from City.
When it comes to winning trophies and setting high standards season after season, Pep Guardiola, the manager of this Manchester City team, keeps raising the bar.
Not only does City have some of the best players in the world, but they also have leaders who never seem to be satisfied and care deeply about improving both as people and as a team.
With all of these things in place, it is not an accident that the English giants have done well under Guardiola.
It is hard to say what one thing has made them a special club on its own.
MORE STORIES ABOUT MAN CITY
Murillo of Nottingham Forest said that City, along with Real Madrid, is every player’s dream location right now.
But Pep Guardiola is at the head of the club’s rise.
Some of the best football teams in Europe were Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich, even though Chelsea had some success under Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini.

Bent makes a new claim about Pep Guardiola.
Since Pep Guardiola took over, though, things have changed for the better for Manchester City.
So much so that Stephen Warnock told Sky Sports in May that this City team is the best in the history of the Premier League.
People probably would not say that about Mancini and Pellegrini’s championship teams in 2012 and 2014, no matter how good they were.
When asked on talkSPORT how much Darren Bent would pay to hire Pep Guardiola as manager of Manchester City, he said, “A lot, mate, break the bank, whole budget.”
Hey Bent, would you pay £200 million? That is what Andy Goldstein asked.
The expert said right away, “Yeah,” that he would pay £200 million.
What did Goldstein ask again? “Would you?”
Bent told him, “You have to.”
Pep Guardiola is one of the few players who can really change a team.
At the end of the day, Pep Guardiola is a genius that can change a club in a way that not even some of the best players in the world can.
The £378,846-a-week man’s ideas about how to play football seem to set the tone for how many teams play around the world. Nobody person can have such an effect.
Because of this, Guardiola makes sure that the teams he coaches stay ahead of the game.
Most teams seem to be able to adapt to the Catalan’s ideas, but then he either goes back to his old defensive basics or comes up with his next big plan.
This is because Pep Guardiola is a big reason why players want to join the teams he manages, and everyone in the team respects him. So Darren Bent is right to say that £200 million would be the asking price for one of, if not the best player in the world.
