City would have thought they had a good chance of beating Simone Inzaghi’s team and getting all three points since they were playing at the Etihad Stadium.
The hosts, on the other hand, could not score, and Inter Milan played great defense to tie the game.
To the very end of the game, Pep Guardiola’s team kept trying to win.
But they failed because they missed the goal, and to be fair, the Sky Blues should be thankful that the guests did not score on any of the many scary counterattacks they had in the game.
