Lammers tricked him into hitting at the far post, but he was already there when he hit at the near post. Did not have to do anything else.

He has always wanted to play forward, and the fact that he can move on both feet helps the attack a lot. When he has the ball, United always look scary. Replaced Garnacho because Ten Hag keeps switching his forwards.

Marcus Rashford: 8 points
Is Rashford well again? Even though there was not a goal, his overall level of play seems very different. An amazing elastico in the first half is the best example of this. Four games ago, he might have passed it backwards. Strangely taken off even though it looked the most dangerous.

Joshua Zirkzee – 6.5
He does not want to be a scorer and will never score a lot of goals, but his ability to link up with other players makes United play better. It was more of the same. There may be a future relationship between Hojlund and Zirkzee.

Stand-ins

Eleazar Garnacho – 7 Ten Hag told him to “defend, defend, defend,” but as soon as Twente tied the game, Hag had to switch to attacking mode. Made a lot of threats and looked like he was going to do something.

Rasmus Hojlund – 6
A few balls flew into him and bounced off of him, making him look rusty. He needs more time to get back to speed because he does not seem to be on the same level as his friends.

His amazing European start for United saw him make some nice runs forward, but he also lost the ball a few times.

as always, constantly pressed, end result missing. After coming back from surgery, needs time to get back into the swing of things in games.
