“I was not SACKED i resigned as Chelsea Head Coach, i can’t take disrespect from the club and media” – Now Former Chelsea Breaks silent why he Resigned as Chelsea head Coach

Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has seemingly disclosed that Enzo Maresca’s surprising departure wasn’t an isolated exit, with multiple coaching staff also leaving the club.
The bombshell announcement came on New Year’s Day that Maresca’s eighteen-month reign at Chelsea had ended, immediately positioning Strasbourg’s Liam Rosenior as the prime contender to fill the vacant managerial role.
Maresca’s tenure had its highlights—securing a Champions League spot in his debut campaign while capturing both the Conference League trophy and the prestigious Club World Cup.
Despite these accomplishments, a worrying decline in results triggered emergency meetings with Chelsea’s hierarchy, ultimately leading to the mutual decision to separate, with the club citing the need to offer the squad “the best chance of getting the season back on track.”
Chelsea’s formal press release announcing Maresca’s exit specifically named only the head coach as departing the west London outfit.
However, Sanchez’s social media activity suggests a broader exodus from the coaching setup, with Willy Caballero among those reportedly heading for the exit door alongside the Italian.
The shot-stopper expressed his gratitude on Instagram: “Thank you for everything Enzo, Mickey, Willy, Dani, Marcos and Robi. Very grateful for the trust and the memories we shared, those will live with me forever.
“Wishing you all the best for the future, will miss you all.”
The Blues are prepared to waste no time in securing Maresca’s replacement.
Rosenior tops the shortlist, though Standard Sport has learned that Chelsea’s decision-makers are evaluating several alternative options before making their final choice.
In the interim period, Under-21s boss Calum McFarlane has been tasked with handling media duties for the upcoming Manchester City clash, addressing journalists in the pre-match briefing.
McFarlane is also set to take charge of team affairs at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday, though Chelsea hasn’t yet made an official statement regarding the temporary coaching structure.
