Source has told ESPN Al Hilal is closing in on João Cancelo’s signing from Manchester City.
Deal valued at an initial £21 million ($28m) has the Portugal international moving to the Saudi Pro League. Cancelo is almost in agreement on a deal valued around £15m annually.
Following loan terms at Bayern Munich and Barcelona, the thirty-year-old has not featured for City for eighteen months.

Having played over 150 games and three times won the Premier League title, he will be leaving City. Additionally twice nominated in the PFA Premier League squad of the year in 2021 and 2022.
Last played for City in January 2023 before a surprise loan transfer to Bayern Munich. The German side opted against finalizing the agreement, hence last summer he joined Barcelona on loan for the 2023–24 season.
