Premier League News

N’Golo Kanté has been seen in London today as he gets ready to sign a loan contract with Chelsea Football Club for a period of six months till the end of the season. The arrival of the France international is something that fans at Stamford Bridge are looking forward to with great anticipation

According to the Telegraph, N’Golo Kante might return to the Premier League on loan this January, with Chelsea actively searching for midfield reinforcements.

The 34-year-old French international, who captured six prestigious titles during his time at Stamford Bridge including the Premier League, Champions League, and Europa League, is currently in his third season with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

Chelsea are pursuing a new central midfielder this transfer window, with Douglas Luiz emerging as a potential target. The club has initiated discussions with Juventus regarding the Brazilian midfielder, who is presently on loan at Nottingham Forest but has only featured in five Premier League starts this campaign.

The Telegraph reports that Chelsea’s strategy focuses on acquiring a midfielder with existing Premier League experience, and they’re exploring multiple options in the market.

Kante, who spent seven successful years at Chelsea, is reportedly available for a loan move until the end of the season as he aims to secure a spot in Didier Deschamps’ France squad for the upcoming World Cup.

However, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed this week that Turkish giants Fenerbahce are leading the race for Kante’s signature.

“They’re competing against interest from multiple Premier League clubs. Fenerbahce are putting in serious effort to complete the N’Golo Kante deal with Al-Ittihad,” Romano stated on his YouTube channel.

“Fenerbahce are being persistent. The reason? They’re aware that several Premier League clubs contacted Kante’s representatives over the weekend. They know English teams are exploring whether they can enter the race for Kante.

“Still, Fenerbahce remain confident the player prefers joining them and is enthusiastic about the opportunity to move to Turkey and represent Fenerbahce,” he added.

Big news from the Telegraph – N’Golo Kante could be heading back to England on loan this January! And interestingly, Chelsea are in the market for a new midfielder.

The 34-year-old legend, who won everything at Chelsea (Premier League, Champions League, Europa League – you name it), has been playing in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ittihad for almost three years now.

Chelsea are actively chasing midfield reinforcements and have been in talks with Juventus about Douglas Luiz. The Brazilian is currently at Nottingham Forest on loan but hasn’t gotten much playing time – just five Premier League starts so far.

Sources say Chelsea want someone who already knows the Premier League inside and out, and they’re considering several candidates.

Kante, who gave Chelsea seven incredible years, is apparently available on loan for the remainder of the season. His goal? Getting back into form to make France’s World Cup squad this summer under Didier Deschamps.

But here’s the twist – transfer guru Fabrizio Romano says Fenerbahce are pushing hard to sign Kante and are trying to fend off competition from Premier League clubs.

Romano explained: “Fenerbahce are working overtime to get this deal done with Al-Ittihad. They’re pushing hard because they know Premier League clubs have been reaching out to Kante’s agents recently, trying to see if they can jump into the mix.

“But Fenerbahce still feel confident that Kante wants to join them and is excited about playing in Turkey,” he said.
