“They did it again I use to say “real Madrid and VAR” are family, but no one is believing me.look at the rudiger hand, and they said is offside” – FC Bayern Munich Manager Thomas Tuchel Furious at Real Madrid influence on referee team after controversial moment in semi-final after potential equalizer goal was cancelled as offside

Real Madrid defeated Bayern Munich 2-1 in the second leg of their semifinal match, earning a 4-3 aggregate victory that guaranteed them a position in yet another Champions League final.

A controversial decision to deny Matthijs de Ligt’s goal for an offside ruling against Noussair Mazraoui during the build-up soured the game, but Joselu Mati’s late brace proved to be the game’s deciding factor.

Thomas Tuchel, the head coach of Bayern, voiced his displeasure with the choice, calling it a “complete disaster.”

He blamed both the linesman and the referee for their mistakes, criticizing the referee team for letting play go on despite the obvious offside infraction.

In an interview that followed, Tuchel hypothesized that other influences, such the Real Madrid supporters at the Santiago Bernabeu, may have affected the officials’ choices.

He made an implication that the refereeing of the game was influenced by the mood in the stadium.

Real Madrid is still focused on its impending Champions League final, which is less than four weeks away, despite the likely long-term effects of the contentious ruling.

They can’t wait to move on to the final and try for another European crown, scandal or not.
