A very dangerous hit was made on Barcelona star Pedri on Monday while he was lining up for Spain.

Midfielder Pedri, on the other hand, is busy with foreign duty right now.

The 21-year-old came off the bench in Spain’s Nations League match against Denmark late last week, but he was put in the starting lineup for tonight’s game against Switzerland.

Pedri has had a hit-or-miss game so far, messing up his lines from the penalty spot before Yeremy Pino scored on the rebound.

In the late stages of the first half, the young player caused a lot of worry among Barcelona fans.

This happened after Pedri was left on the ground and clearly upset because of a dangerous challenge in the middle of the field.

One of the other players got the former Las Palmas player high on the knee during the tackle. You can see a still picture of the encounter below.

Thankfully, Pedri was able to get back on his feet and perform after some care from the Spanish medical staff.
