“Your Career is over here we don’t need you anymore I can’t see any future in you” Sir Jim Ratcliffe has Sacked Manchester United Coach Erig Ten Hag this morning after Shocking defeat Vs Chelsea
Finally, after Brentford’s fall, there was this one.
That is not true for Manchester United. Up until Diogo Dalot tripped and fell on Noni Madueke in the 96th minute, this was more West End than West London from United.
It was their most exciting and loud game yet. United’s 90-minute games this season have had 26 goals scored after the 80th minute. That’s 28 now.
The last two both went to Cole Palmer and Chelsea. United fans yelled at Palmer, calling him a “City reject.” If only the Wythenshawe-born boy Red had turned down City when he was younger. United made a terrible mistake by letting him go through the net.
Palmer is now one of only a few players to score three goals against them. Also, United’s habit of giving up goals late in the game and quickly afterward is unacceptable.
A goal in the 99th minute tied the game at Brentford. Then there were goals in the 110th and 111th minutes. It was Mauricio Pochettino and his staff running onto the field. Erik ten Hag crept down the tube without saying hello.
There can be no more doubt. This United team doesn’t have the right mindset to make it to the Champions League. Even though United had one of their better games in a crazy season, this was still proof that Ten Hag was guilty.
United scored a lot of the same kinds of goals, and they were once again stopped at the very end. At the last scream, Antony looked like he was about to cry. With the loud noise from the away area of the Shed End behind them, United played so well that it seemed like there was a “process” that Ten Hag talked about in his Wednesday pre-game press conference.
But this was one of the worst losses for them. United often comes back from being down 2-0 to win 3-2, and this looked like one of those times. Some things about their play were good, even when Chelsea was ahead 2-0, and it wasn’t for nothing. United was full of both silk and steel as they dealt with more defense casualties and brought on Willy Kambwala, 19, for a full evaluation.
