According to L’Equipe, Didier Deschamps may speak with Kylian Mbappe shortly to find out whether he still wants to lead France.

Deschamps would probably name Ibrahima Konate as the new captain if Mbappe declares he no longer wants to wear the armband. The Liverpool center-back has been leading the squad recently.
