Antoine Semenyo’s has rejected a move to Manchester City in the last minute to join this Premier League club

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has declined to comment on speculation linking his club with a potential January transfer for Antoine Semenyo.
The Bournemouth forward appears to be moving closer to a switch to the Etihad Stadium, with City reportedly prepared to activate the £65 million ($87m) buyout provision included in his current deal with the Cherries.
According to information provided to ESPN, negotiations are currently taking place, however during a press briefing held on Wednesday, Guardiola was unwilling to address whether the Ghanaian player might be brought into his roster.
“I’m not aware of any developments regarding this matter at the present moment,” the manager stated.
“Unfortunately, I don’t have any information to share. As far as I’m concerned, the transfer market is entirely shut at this time.”
Should Semenyo complete a transfer to City, it may result in Oscar Bobb departing the club to free up space in the squad.
The Norwegian midfielder, who is currently sidelined with an injury, has been connected with a possible move to Borussia Dortmund, though Guardiola once again avoided giving any definitive answers when questioned about what lies ahead for the player.
“That’s a question for Oscar Bobb himself, not for me to answer,” he responded.
Manchester City are scheduled to travel to Sunderland on Thursday as they attempt to reduce the distance between themselves and Arsenal following their commanding 4-0 triumph over Aston Villa earlier this week on Tuesday.
When Guardiola was questioned about whether Tuesday’s dominant performance suggests the championship battle has now become a contest between just two clubs, the City manager maintained that it remains premature to determine which teams will ultimately emerge as genuine challengers for the title.
“Just a few weeks back, people were only talking about Arsenal, and a couple of days ago everyone was discussing a three-way title fight, and now suddenly it’s being described as just one team in the race, so we’ll have to wait and see how things develop,” he explained.
