Reports say that Mauricio Pochettino wants to take the job at Manchester United in the future, but he has already said that he wants to stay in the Premier League.
After doing their end-of-season review, the Blues said on Tuesday night that they had mutually agreed to fire Pochettino. In the 52-year-old’s only season as manager, he had trouble getting a lot of new players to work together, and his team fell to the middle of the table.
They did, however, make it to the final of the Carabao Cup and the semi-final of the FA Cup. These successes boosted their season in the Premier League. They have won seven of their last ten league games and only lost once, but that loss was a heavy 5-0 loss at Arsenal.

Pochettino has been linked with the United job, which is not a surprise since he said, “I want to stay in England for as long as possible” just two weeks ago. Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “A happy moment for me last night: 400 English football games.”
“I hope to keep adding to this number for a long time. It was one of the best choices I’ve ever made.” When Ten Hag took over as manager of United in 2022, Pochettino was one of the top candidates for the job.
