Kylian Mbappe’s Real Madrid future ‘SHIRT NUMBER’ revealed as agency and Madrid owner approves

Kylian Mbappe will not get his way from the beginning. His favorite option is taken, and he’s agreed to wait, for now… 👀

According to speculations, Kylian Mbappe would wear the number nine shirt during his initial season with Real Madrid before moving to his chosen number in 2025.

On Monday night, Real Madrid confirmed the long-awaited acquisition of Kylian Mbappe on a five-year contract.

The 25-year-old striker, who has never hesitated to show his passion for Los Blancos, released an emotional message about his upcoming move.

“A dream come true,” he stated. “I am overjoyed and thrilled to join the club of my dreams, Real Madrid. Nobody understands how delighted I am right now. I can’t wait to meet you, Madridistas, and thank you for your incredible support. “Hala Madrid.”

According to French daily Le Parisien, Mbappe’s shirt number has been verified now that the trade is complete.

According to the source, Mbappe will start for the newly crowned European champions in the number nine shirt, which has been vacant since Karim Benzema left in the summer of 2023.

Then, if Luka Modric decides to go, Mbappe will acquire the number ten jersey, which is thought to be his favored option.

Modric, who has signed to a new one-year contract with Los Blancos, recently expressed his desire to retire at the Spanish club following another good season in the middle.

“I’ve always maintained that I want to retire with Real Madrid,” he remarked.

“It would be a dream of mine to retire at home, at my favorite club, and I hope it comes true. I have no doubt that my body and football skills will allow me to remain among the top.

There’s been a lot of debate about age, which disturbs me. At Real Madrid, the top players take the pitch. Now I feel strong, but that might change in six months, and if I realize I can no longer do it, I’ll be the first to acknowledge it.

If Mbappe ends up wearing ten on the back of his shirt in 2025, he will be following in the footsteps of Luis Figo, Ferenc Puskas, and Clarence Seedorf, who have all worn the legendary number.

The Frenchman initially wore the No.29 shirt when he arrived to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017, but he finally settled on number seven and has worn it since.
