Manchester City has just loaned out Thier £45million Star player who has more assist than Phil Foden last season

During the summer transfer window, a number of players have left Manchester City.

That is, Sergio Gomez, Liam Delap, and Taylor Harwood-Bellis have all signed binding deals to leave the Blues and join other teams.

City has also shown in past transfer windows that they are open to loaning players to other teams for a short time.

They have hired out young players like James McAtee and Josh Wilson-Esbrand so that they can get regular playing time somewhere else. The Blues have also shipped out more experienced players like Joao Cancelo.

Because of this, some behind-the-scenes information about another player on Pep Guardiola’s team who might be leaving before the window closes has come to light.

Manchester City is set to loan Kalvin Phillips out this summer.
This is what a recent article from The Athletic said about the situation.

It said, “Premier League teams are interested in Kalvin Phillips, but a move is most likely.”

The 28-year-old is working with City’s preseason team in the United States right now. He might get some playing time in their upcoming friendlies against Celtic, AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea.

Phillips should do something about his job.
City paid £45 million (through Sky Sports) to get Phillips from Leeds United in the summer of 2022.

The English player was moved out from West Ham United in January of the previous year after playing just a few games in his first season and a half at the Etihad Stadium.

For the East London club, Phillips only started three of the eight Premier League games he played in. In April, Hammer striker Michail Antonio said Phillips was having trust issues.

If the player isn’t going to play much for City next season, he should join another team where he can play often and get his career back on track.

City will have to decide whether it is better for them to loan him out again or find a club willing to pay a fair price to sign him.
