Premier League manager has been sacked this evening and replaced with former Chelsea Boss Thomas Tuchel!

According to a source, Manchester United has apparently “contacted” Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Bayern Munich, as they are supposedly planning prospective replacements for Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

There is a lot of talk about the future of Dutchman Ten Hag, who has been having a difficult season with the Red Devils. Ten Hag continues to suffer through what has been a turbulent season. Although he is now under contract with United until the year 2025, there have been rumors that a number of other coaches may take over in the summer.

According to Georg Holzner of Kicker, United has already made touch with Tuchel and may be able to provide the former Chelsea coach with an opportunity to play in a Premier League club. Having joined Bayern in March of 2023, the German is in the process of leaving the club at the conclusion of the current season.

According to reports, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is a minority owner of United, is interested in bringing Tuchel to the club as he wants to reorganize his team in preparation for the 2024–2025 season. Not only does the fifty-year-old player have two Ligue 1 crowns, a Champions League trophy, and a Bundesliga title, but he has also just advanced to the semifinals of the Champions League with Bayern Munich following victory against Arsenal.

In spite of this, Tuchel’s team was unable to prevent Bayer Leverkusen from claiming the Bundesliga championship. Bayer Leverkusen won the championship one month before to the last gameweek of the season.

Even though Ten Hag received further criticism after his team narrowly defeated Coventry City to get to the FA Cup final at Wembley, he continued to commend his team’s attitude for finally overcoming the obstacle and advancing to the final.

In the semi-final match that took place on Sunday, United had a 3-0 lead before the hour mark. However, the Championship team managed to take the game into extra time and ultimately prevailed only via the use of penalties. The FA Cup is the final remaining opportunity for Manchester United to win a trophy this season; but, in order to do so, they will need to defeat Manchester City, who are currently the defending champions.
