Transfer News and Rumors

Shocking news has been announced this morning as 47-year-old Billionaire is set to replace Todd Boehly as Chelsea chairman in 2025

Despite the fact that the American will continue to be linked with the club, Mail Sport reports that the Blues will continue to nominate a new person to the job in 2027.

Ever since Boehly took over the club after Roman Abramovich’s tenure, which is widely regarded as the most successful period in the club’s history, Boehly has been at the helm of the organization.

Anyone who took over from that spell was always going to be under pressure to show results immediately, or else the supporters were not going to be the most delighted.

Unfortunately, this has been the situation for the Blues for the past two seasons in a row, and they have been struggling to maintain their position in the middle of the table.

All of this is in spite of the fact that they have not been afraid to spend a significant amount of money since they took control. By acquiring Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in successive transfer windows, the club has broken their previous record for the most players acquired in a single transfer window.

Chants that are not particularly kind have been directed at the American, and as a knock-on effect, they have also been directed at the manager who is currently in charge, Mauricio Pochettino.

Now, it has been asserted that his tenure as chairman is going to come to an end in a few years’ time, and that someone else who is already employed by the club might take over responsibility for the position.

As part of an agreement between the owners of the club, it has been stated that Behdad Eghbali might be the person assigned with the duty. This is necessary since the owners of the club have agreed that the function can be transferred at regular intervals.

However, it is evident that Chelsea supporters are starting to feel dissatisfied with the situation at Stamford Bridge. It is not yet obvious whether this will actually make a difference at the club or not.

According to reports, there is already a disagreement among the board members on what they ought to do with Pochettino, with some of them already looking to a future that doesn’t involve him.
