“When we played against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, I think too many decisions … not one key decision was for us. Two Goals was ruled out as Offside. VAR helped them to beat us, always for another colour. Always red. I want to be treated in a fair way.”

Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, said after the game that the team’s ineffective defense and the contentious decision made by the video assistant referee were the reasons why Chelsea was unable to defeat Aston Villa.
“The performance was really excellent and we played very well,” Mauricio Pochettino said to TNT Sports following Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa. “It is true that in the first half we surrendered cheaply,” Pochettino said.
The items that we attempted to improve resulted in the team not giving up too much ground.
“I am satisfied with the team due to the fact that they played Villa, who are now competing for the top four, and the players were fantastic.”
We had a nice chance to play against a talented club today, and I believe that it was exactly what we had anticipated.
“At this point, we have no choice but to go on, and the goal that was disallowed will appear in major news outlets.”
